While awaiting a bus to a game a cop assumed three high school students were loitering. The cop ordered the kids to leave the area. Instead of listening to the boys tell him they were awaiting a bus he began to ‘cuff them.
One cop told the boys coach that if he had the room he would arrest all of them.
Everybody I know of, including myself, has had some sort of dialogue with a cop with an attitude that is described in the video above. Your rights don’t matter and you cannot ask a question of a jackbooted thug.
“We was just waiting for our bus and he started arrested us,” one of the students who was arrested, Wan’Tauhjs Weathers, 17, described.
The boys families each gave their thanks on Thanksgiving in the form of posting $200 in bail. Hey, something has got to keep the coin in the local government trough. The boys await trial on December 11.
